Using Kanban Boards to Visualize the Workflow from Team to Value Streams
In this workshop, we show you why visualization is so powerful – if a picture is worth a thousand words, a visualization is worth ten times a picture. Learn how to set up a Kanban board or evolve the one you are using. We show examples and scenarios to draw from, enabling you to optimize a board that is fit for your purposes.
One of the significant enablers of improving the flow of value delivery is focusing on a big culprit of inefficiency: waiting time (delays) between the value-adding tasks. This factor is almost always an area for improvement, yet no one is attending to it in most companies. In this workshop, you will learn about visualizing work, identifying when it is delayed, techniques for raising awareness of what is happening, and how to begin collaborating on options to reduce or eliminate the delay.
