LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Workshop Overview

Why You Should Consider CAPM Certification

CAPM® is an entry-level certification for beginners and its purpose is to give an opportunity to anyone with little or no direct project related experience to demonstrate their understanding of the basic principles and terminology of Project Management.

The CAPM® certification validates your understanding of the knowledge, processes, and terminology essential for effective project management.

Regardless of your career stage, the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® serves as a valuable asset that distinguishes you in the job market, enhances your credibility, and amplifies your effectiveness when working on or with project teams.

The CAPM certification highlights your skill set as a project manager and serves as a crucial stepping stone toward career advancement. By earning this certification, you demonstrate your ability to drive impactful outcomes and maximize project benefits through the application of both predictive and agile practices, utilizing our business analysis frameworks based on the best fit for your project.

Why Attend the CAPM Workshop?

The CAPM certification serves as a stepping stone for newcomers to the project management profession, enabling them to transform their careers, strengthen their engagement within the professional community, and eventually pursue advanced certifications such as PMP®, PMI-ACP, and other PMI professional credentials as they gain experience and expertise.

Our interactive and instructor-led CAPM workshop provides gamification and scenario-based learning, allowing you to explore key concepts, including the fundamentals of agile, predictive, and hybrid project management approaches.

Being CAPM certified creates opportunities for entry-level project management roles such as project coordinator associate and junior project manager.

WORKSHOP FEEDBACK
What Our Students Have to Say

The three day CAPM workshop was a great investment in my future and, along with my education and work experience, means I’m now eligible to take both the CAPM and the PMP!  The workshop was offered Friday, Saturday, Sunday which means I only needed to ask for one day off from work to attend.  The small class size helped everyone feel completely comfortable asking questions and our instructor, Chastine Lynch, offered great real-world examples of concepts and terminology to make sure we understood the material.  I now see how important it is for project managers to have formal training in their craft, both to help them better serve their clients, and to help them protect their team from burnout by providing structure and leadership.

I think the course was well organized and Chastine was a thorough, kind, patient, knowledgeable instructor. Great class!
