Learn together

The Amplio Community of Practice, or ACoP, is a place for people who want to learn in a better way than what most Agile methods currently present. This includes improvements in mindset, content, and training methods. The Amplio approach is agnostic to individuals' opinions, but is the result of collaboration by several thought leaders. This alone makes it different from Agile's most popular methods which are literally controlled by less than a handful of people, Amplio is a collection of proven approaches from Flow, Lean, and the Theory of Constraints. While integrated primarily by Al Shalloway, it is a collection of practices that he and others have seen to be useful and which have a proven track record. It represents an agnostic approach based on the work of thought leaders, past and present, like Tom Gilb, Don Reinertsen, Eli Goldratt, Steve Tendon, Dan North, Russ Ackoff, Edwards Deming, and many others. It is the only major approach that is based on value streams, and this provides a scale-free approach that works at both the team level and the overall organization.
