Why You Should Consider a Amplio Development Masterclass
The Amplio Development Masterclass is an advanced workshop that educates participants on how to lead teams to create value for their stakeholders. Its scope ranges from single teams to groups of teams of up to 90 people. It is an alternative to advanced team workshops, Scrum-based scaling approaches, and Essential SAFe.
This Masterclass Has Real World Problem Solving at Its Core
The workshop takes participants through a series of problem-solving methods. This teaches them how to identify challenges their teams are likely to face and how to solve them. By using the latest learning methods, Amplio Development creates a foundation for participants to continue extending their abilities to work with teams after the workshop. It uses over a dozen virtual collaboration whiteboards (Miro) to do this. These are all provided to the participants to use in their work during and after the workshop.
Objectives Considered During Workshop
The ADM presents several concepts that are not in any of the popular frameworks that are essential for success.
While most workshops are one-and-done, this program provides learning over time, time to get questions asked and answered, and a considerable number of virtual collaboration tools along with coaching on how to convey the concepts learned.
What You Should Know Before
This workshop is primarily for graduates of the Disciplined Agile Value Stream Consultant workshop and the Amplio Development Masterclass. However, any advanced Agile coach is welcomed, although they will need to read some of Amplio Development: The Path to Effective Lean-Agile Teams for background.
Time Investment
For virtually the same price, you get 26 hours of instructor-led content and 48 hours of Q&A over an 8-month period. This gives you chance to learn, try, ask for help, and do the whole process again. The combination of the Amplio Development Master class along with the Value Stream Coach enables you to be an experienced Agile coach in 8 months – not several years. While you do have to do to understand, you don’t have to reinvent.

Miro Virtual Boards to Present and Learn Concepts
Our virtual boards enable a significant amount of learning. This enables asynchronous learning in both the workshop and when they are used in the participants’ workplaces.
The Challenges Board
This starts the workshop off by identifying the challenges participants are having. It sets the stage for how to solve them.
First Principles and the Value Stream Impedance Scorecard
Amplio is based on Flow, Lean, and the Theory of Constraints. When these are understood, many complex problems become much more straightforward.
Feedback on Feedback
Knowledge work is mostly invisible until something is demonstrated. Eliminating waste is mainly accomplished by eliminating delays in feedback.

A Complete Training for Coaches and Teams
- First 4 months: The Amplio Development Masterclass (ADM). 12 lessons with Q&A are delivered over a four-month period. All sessions are recorded.
- Next 4 months: Value Stream Coach workshop (separate tuition for this). Can also retake the ADM for review or to watch missed sessions. One lesson every other week.
